At Tambo Ilusion Retreat Center, we are happy to host international and national retreat leaders looking for a special and unique place surrounded by natural beauty to hold personal retreats for their own tribe.
It is very easy to get to Tambo Ilusion Retreat Center. We are located 15 minutes away from Tarapoto airport and Tarapoto city center. Yet, when one enters the front gate, one is immersed in nature.
We have the capacity for a total of 14 guests in 7 cabins which have 2 comfortable beds and a private bathroom with hot water showers. The atmosphere at Tambo Ilusion is natural and rustic. Guests sleep under mosquito nets in very comfortable beds. There is electricity in the rooms. Each room is also equipped with a solar lamp and candles.
If you book a group retreat with us with a minimum of 4 participants, we guarantee a private retreat experience, meaning the center will cater to your group only.
Plan your customized retreat. We can help you in the planning process and help to organize logistical details and content for your retreat. If you are planning a retreat and need the support of a yoga instructor, Johanne would be happy to assist.
We would be happy to help you create a unique retreat by adding herbal baths (a Peruvian tradition to help cleanse the aura), a guided walk in the protected forest of Tambo Ilusion, a raw food workshop, eating psychology workshops, Reiki sessions or Reiki initiation level one, massage and other treatments offered by a local medicine women and men, etc. Be assured that by offering your retreat at Tambo Ilusion it will make your guests' experience unique and unforgettable.
Vegetarian (or vegan) meals are prepared with love. You can expect your guests to eat well during their retreat.
The yoga room is stunning. It is such a pleasure to practice yoga and meditation in this space. It has a wonderful "Ombiance"! During yoga practice, it is not uncommon to see monkeys playing in the trees offering moments of pure joy.
We also have a lot of experience accommodating Ayahuasca retreat leaders and their groups.
In August of 2014, Tambo Ilusion was chosen as one of the top five yoga retreat centers in Peru by one of the most prestigious newspaper of Peru called "El Comercio".
